Harry Styles To Spring 'Surprise' Album On Fans: One Direction Reunion In September?

In 2016, it was Zayn Malik who released a solo album Mind of Mine and now it seems that his fellow One Direction boys are also gearing to release their solo music. Buzz is high in particular, Harry Styles is working on releasing his own secret album soon.

According to a report by Hollywood Life, s source close to Styles shared that the singer is keeping the details of the album close to his chest and keeping everything a surprise.

Instead of releasing an LP in time with the release of Dunkirk, where he has been cast as one of the stars, the source cited that Styles wants to drop the full album as a treat for his loyal fans. Dunkirk is set for release around August this year, according to the movie's IMDB page but talks are rife that Harry is eyeing a much earlier date for his solo music.

The former One Direction heartthrob reportedly has enough songs to complete the project but fans should not expect him to announce a release date.

Meanwhile, since disbanding, the One Direction boys have been quite busy.

It was reported that former members Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson are also set to release their own solo albums soon.

According to a report by UnrealityTV, the boys may be even competing against each other if they release their albums at roughly the same time. It is expected that if they release any of their music from February onwards, they could qualify for Grammy nods in 2018.

Even as they gear for releasing individual material, a report hinted at a possibility of One Direction reunion, which would definitely set the hearts of their hard core fans aflutter.

If Niall Horan's earlier statement regarding the band's 18 month hiatus will serve as a basis, then the band could reunite as early as September this year.

Fans will definitely keep their eyes peeled about possible sightings of the boys in meetings or spending time together.
