With 2017 marking the 10th anniversary of the original iPhone, its new features are expected to bring the iPhone product line. Being Apple's next leading smartphone, the iPhone8 has swirling rumours on incorporated features like all glass, OLED display and wireless charging.
The excitement about the smartphone is tangible even nine months before its launch, giving a fair idea on how the iPhone 8 device would be like. The next Apple smartphone leaks suggest that the new device will use curved glass on the back, which incurs to be a comeback feature of Apple used with iPhone 4S.
According to Forbes, 2017's Apple iPhone models (iPhone 7S and iPhone 8) are expected to acquire upgraded IP68 dust and water resistance technology. Based on the confirmed reports the Apple mobile phones will be able to withstand submersion in water up to 1.5 meters for nearly 30 minutes.
The change of current IP67 rating used in iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus, allows the devices to survive in only one meter of water for almost the same time, which is similar to IP68 rating and is reported to be essential by Apple, Gadgets 360 reported.
With the ongoing rumours of iPhone 8, it is acquired that Apple may launch the new device with 5-inch, and 5.8inch display with the same overall size as the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The Japanese newspaper Nikkei also stated about a premium iPhone 8 consisting a 5.5inch or larger display.
Another frequently leaked rumoured feature of iPhone 8 is that the device will consist of a touch ID fingerprint sensor and not the home button.
