Jamie Dornan Doesn't Lose Sleep Over The 'Fifty Shades Darker' Haters

"Fifty Shades Darker", the sequel to the blockbuster hit that grossed over $500 million worldwide, is about to hit theaters next month. But despite the success of the S&M film, a lot of people don't like it and are very vocal about it. Good thing Jamie Dornan is such a great sport and doesn't lose sleep over this.

In an interview with GQ Australia he said that as much as over a hundred million fans like it, there's still a lot of people who are simply not into it, and he's fine with that. He doesn't blame them. He himself have a lot of opinions he doesn't know much about. It's the 'nature of the beast'. So he's not going to lose sleep over it.

The Millionaire Playboy

Jamie Dornan is best known for his role as Christian Grey, the millionaire playboy who stole the heart of his young lover, Anastasia Steele. But despite the crazy red room and massive research he undertook to play the role, he reveals he's really not into the whole S&M thing. Far from it, actually. He's the exact opposite of Christian Grey. Here's why.

S&M Is Not His Thing

"It doesn't float my boat," is how he describes it. It's nothing he's experienced before and has no interest in this world. However, he's very open minded and liberal and would never judge people's sexual preference. He said whatever gets them off is totally up to them and there's countless ways to please one's self sexually.

He's Not On The Dark Side

Unlike Grey who seem to be so intense, dark and uptight all the time, Dornan claims to be the exact opposite. He considers himself light-hearted and easy-going even if he keeps playing the role of sick psychopath bastards. Sometimes he gets worried how comfortable he is in that zone, but at the same time finds it quite funny.

He's A Family Man

While Christian Grey is a top bachelor who wants anything but a commitment, Dornan is every inch a family man. As a matter of fact, he and his wife Amelia Warner welcomed their second child last year. He loves fatherhood and enjoys it very much, per E! News.

Opposites or not, looks like fans are willing to have Jamie Dornan either way. But with the worldwide financial success of the hit novel turned film, Christian Grey may have won the race.
