‘Scream Queens’ Season 3 Still Uncertain; Fox Execs Claim A Lot Of Factors To Be Considered

Fans are wondering if the showrunners will give "Scream Queens" Season 3 a go signal anytime soon. Fox Entertainment President David Madden and Gary Newman said in the recently held Television Critics Association conference on January 11 that nothing is final yet. However, hopes are high that the show will push through this year to the eager pleas of fans.

According to Variety, Newman and Madden are glad the horror-comedy flick was a big hit to viewers. Then again, the third season's renewal is still in the talks as of the moments. Apparently, Fox needs a couple of months more to decide the best thing for the show and the network itself.

It turns out Season 2 did not rake in the needed numbers for the ratings games. However, Madden doesn't think this reflects the whole of the show. He says the ratings don't tell the entire story since it has a very young audience. Thus, you can't see the whole picture. He said Fox appreciated the impact of "Scream Queens" on their younger audience who are actually hard to reach. That being said, he also clarified that the needs of the network is another factor that will come into play if "Scream Queens" Season 3 will be given the green light.

Meanwhile, fellow "Scream Queens" co-stars are giving nothing but love and support to Billie Lourd, a.k.a. Chanel No. 3. This in the wake of the recent passing of her mom, Carrie Fisher, and grandma Debbie Reynolds.

She said Lourd needed her space so they just have to wait and be patient. It's no joke losing your mother and grandmother at the same time. Especially if one is very close to the both of them, the way Lourd is to hers. She says she knows Billie very well and can imagine how she feels. When she thinks about her friend's situation, she just lets her feel.
