"The Big Bang Theory" Season 11 cancellation rumors are circulating all over the internet. While some reports claim that CBS may decide to cancer the show altogether, others indicate that the cast members may be actually preparing for the next season.
According to the Inquisitr, many fans are worried that their favorite show may not return to the television screen after "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 gets over. This is primarily because of the two reasons.
First, "The Big Bang Theory" has not been renewed by CBS as yet. Therefore, there is no information as to whether "The Big Bang Theory" Season 11 would actually be produced or planned or not. Second, it was previously rumored that actor Jim Parsons may decide to leave the show altogether because he already has a lot on his plate in the year 2017.
CBS Entertainment itself confirmed recently that the renewal is currently under process. Glenn Geller, President, said that they are currently negotiating with the team and are optimistic about the results. He further hinted that there have been instances in the past where contract dispute have led to cancellation of the show.
However, "The Big Bang Theory" actors and fans are optimistic that this will never happen. Even if this happens, the cancellation news is expected to hit the viewers and fans at the end of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10. Until then, the negotiation is expected to go on for weeks to come.
Therefore, it release of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 11 may take a while, as Dr Leonard Hofstadter, Penny and Sheldon Cooper return to the screen on the popular sitcom. Their return as the mail cast members is kind of confirmed, considering the fact that CBS is current busy negotiating with Parsons (Copper), Kaley Cuoco (Penny) and Johnny Galecki (Hofstadter).
Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter recently released a report stating that Warner Bros screenwriters are currently busy writing script for "The Big Bang Theory" prequel on Sheldon. According to report, casting in underway for the upcoming series.
