The family plan for 2017 for the royal family of Kate Middleton and Prince William has been revealed by Kensington Palace. This year, the royal couple is all set to focus their attention on more royal duties and will also spend quality time with their children.
According to News Xfoor, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will move to London this fall, as per the statement released by the Palace on Friday.
Queen Elizabeth II had gifted the house in Norfolk to the royal couple during their wedding in 2011. The house was renovated for more than $6.5 million. In 2014, William and Kate made it their official home and had been living there ever since then.
The royal couple will be settling at the Kensington Palace, after relocating from Anmer Hall, their country home in Norfolk. One of the statements from the palace read, "Their Royal Highnesses love their time in Norfolk and it will continue to be their home". It further stated, from this autumn, the Duke and Duchess will increasingly base their family at Kensington Palace, as per Yahoo.
The Royal Highnesses are also keen to continue their contribution by increasing their official work on behalf of the Queen. They will extend their support to the charity and causes, which will require their stay in London.
William and Kate took the decision to move as their children, Prince George, 3, and Princess Charlotte who is 20 months old, will be attending school in London. Currently, Prince George is enrolled at Westacre Montessori School in Norfolk
The statement from the Royal Palace states, the royal children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, will begin their school in September in London. Though the statement is not clear on where the royal children will be schooling but the Wetherby Pre-Preparatory school might be an option as Prince William and Prince Harry were also enrolled in it.
