‘Suits’ Season 6 Spoilers: Donna Reconsiders Being a Secretary; 'Darvey' Could Happen Soon

The second half of "Suits" Season 6 will start the morning after Jessica Pearson's departure (Gina Torres). Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) just got out of prison. Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Louis (Rick Hoffman) are meant to look after the firm, but there will always be a rivalry between them. It's up to Donna (Sarah Rafferty) to make sure that the firm is still standing at the end of the day.

"Suits" executive producer Aaron Korsh said that Louis and Harvey know they should make peace and work together, but their personalities naturally repel and they will be back to pranks and misunderstanding. Korsh also said that there will be something surprising about how the two will handle each other.

Rachel (Meghan Markle), meanwhile, will be facing a decision whether or not to stay in Pearson Specter Litt after Mike was revealed as a fraud and after Jessica's departure. TV Insider revealed that Harvey and Donna will be facing new challenges in their relationship as well.

According to Korsh, their relationship will escalate. He didn't specify in what way, but he did draw attention to when Harvey and Donna held hands in the midseason finale. He said there will be a follow-up to that scene in the next few episodes of "Suits" Season 6.

Will Donna stay Harvey's secretary forever?

Also, Donna will be exploring some new things in her life. She will be thinking about her dreams and goals and how she wants her life to proceed. "Suits" Season 6 spoilers reveal that Donna is even wondering if she wants to continue working as a secretary at PSL.

In a New York Post article, Rafferty said that Donna will continue to help Harvey deal with the firm's new status. Rafferty also said that while Donna goes on her own journey of self-re-discovery, the show will be bringing back some comedic elements.

Things had been very intense and stressed, so it would be a welcome change when the show brings back some of its humor. Gabriel Macht also talked about his character's predicament in "Suits" Season 6B. While Harvey is ecstatic to have Mike back again, he's also trying to deal with Jessica leaving them, which brings back memories of abandonment. According to Donna, it's one of the issues that he has to deal with. "Suits" will return this Jan. 25. on the USA Network.
