Lil Wayne and his Young Money family, best friend Mack Maine where on hand to watch the Lakers put an end to a grueling season at the Staples Center Sunday, April 28.
The energetic Laker Fan, appeared a bit down as he watched the Laker's season end in Game 4 of their NBA Western Conference Quarterfinals basketball playoffs. While the Lakers team is riddled with injuries, two unknown guards, Andrew Goudelock and Darius Morris were forced to step up to the plate in attempts to carry the NBA powerhouse team.
Goudelock was called up 12 days ago from the NBA's D-League, and Morris, barely played all season for Los Angeles, according to NBA.com. With Meta World Peace, Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Steve Blake, and Jodie Meeks out with an array of injuries, Laker Coach Mike D'Antoni had no choice but to turn to Goudelock and Morris.
Although Goudelock only played 6 minutes the entire season, he told NBA.com before Sunday's game that "Nobody expects anything out of me. They know I can play. I've just got to go out there and do it."
Unfortunately, the Lakers were no threat to the Spurs. The Lakers 2013 season came to a premature end in Game for with a final score of San Antonio 103, Los Angeles Lakers 82.
Obviously disappointed, Lil Wayne will have to find another top team to root for. However that will not be The Miami Heat, as was banned from all Miami Heat games February 2013.
