Those following them on social media would know that Nina Dobrev and Glen Powell obviously enjoy each other's company. But speculations have been going around that the two are more than just friends. Could the ex-"The Vampire Diaries" star and Powell friendship be blossoming into something more?

They've been spotted on several occasions like spending New Year with friends in Texas and a onesie party during a UFC fight night. Even if a rep for the stars say the two are just good friends, other sources claim that the pair are actually dating, per E! News.

The source said that the two have common friends and have been seeing each other discreetly for quite some time now. Glen is really into Nina and she's completely his type. They've already met each other's families. Glen is one family oriented man and Nina really loves that about him.

Breaking Free From Elena

Meanwhile, Nina Dobrev is super excited to finally break free and tackle other roles apart from being Elena on the hit tv series "The Vampire Diaries". Although she admits this was her breakout role and owe much of her success to the series, she's ready to get down and dirty to tackle more challenging stuff per Bustle.

Elena Dobrev was able to nag a part in "XXX: Return of Xander Cage". She plays the geeky, tech-savvy Becky in the movie, a far cry from her Katherine and Elena characters. She said she auditioned for this role. She got into the room and killed it. She said it's more fun when you really work hard for a part.

So what's next on Nina Dobrev's wish list? Another action film, a rom-com, plus a period piece. She's positive above the challenges awaiting her. Her projects don't come in a silver platter, and that's exactly what makes it so appealing for her.
