The singing sensation Justin Bieber is one of the most controversial figures in world music today. Bieber has again found himself in news. This time, he was filmed using fairly dated slang to diss The Weeknd's music.
According to an article in Independent, in a footage captured by TMZ, the young singing idol was questioned if he would listen to a Weeknd song. The "Baby" singer came up with a curt reply, "hell no". The Weeknd is a Canadian singer, record producer and songwriter, who released his debut album Kiss Land in 2013.
His second album, Beauty Behind the Madness, was hugely appreciated. It went onto become his first number one album on the US Billboard 200.
Reportedly, the reporters posed this question because The Weeknd was apparently spotted with Bieber's former-girlfriend pop icon Selena Gomez. The Weeknd had a break up with model Bella Hadid.
According to a report in Yahoo, when asked why Bieber failed to listed to The Weeknd's music, Bieber was heard saying that it's "s**t's wack".
This behavior doesn't come as a surprise given Bieber's views on women he has dated so far. According to reports, Bieber, who is popular for his songs "Sorry" and "What Do You Mean"?, prefers this ex-girlfriends seek his opinion before they start going around with anyone. However, the same rule need not apply to him.
Bieber, whose fans love calling themselves 'beliebers', was supposed to perform at Hyde Park in London as part of British Summer Time festival. He was also supposed to perform at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
However, at British Summer Time festival, he will be supported by Tove Lo, Anne-Marie and Martin Garrix, for his performance, but there's a reason. He should come on time and shouldn't rant about the mass' conduct.
The "As Long As You Love Me", "One Time" and "Boyfriend" singer, last year called his fans 'obnoxious' at the Birmingham gig. Last year, during his UK leg of his Purpose world tour, he came under scanner when he scolded his fans for talking at the concert.
Bieber, a teen sensation, released his debut full-length album, My World 2.0, in 2010. It was certified triple Platinum in the US.
