"Once Upon a Time" season 7 is said to be at risk of cancellation as it still remains unclear if the Fairy Tale series will be renewed. One of the announcements that bothered fans is the fact that some of the actor and actresses have been throwing shade in regards to being part of the show.
"Once Upon a Time" season 7 is rumored to be set for cancellation and another one of the series' actors announced that it is still uncertain if he would be part of the series or not. Robert Carlyle, who plays the role of Rumpelstiltskin stated that his role is yet to be renewed by the showrunners, which means that it is still uncertain if he would be making a comeback or not.
Part of his interview mentioned that he is still uncertain in regards to his status. Though it was mentioned that executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kits are paving the way to have the series renewed, Carlyle mentioned that he remains uncertain in regards to his return to the series as reported by Entertainment Weekly.
"By the end of this month, I'm going to hit a crossroads and I'm going to have to make some decisions," Carlyle told Digital Spy during his interview. "These decisions aren't just about my wellbeing anymore, it's about my family."
ABC's entertainment president Channing Dungey already released hints that the showrunners are set to have the series renewed. The executive producers will reportedly reset the entire series as they are planning to have a different angle for the storyline.
The series is still planning to showcase the came castmembers, but it remains unclear if who's willing to stay. As of this date, fans will still get a chance to watch the series as "Once Upon A time" season 6 is still up.
