Pusha T is clearly one of the MC's in the game. From his Virginia roots as a member of the brotherly duo, The Clipse, he set the bar high with his ability to tell stories, wrapped in vivid punch lines. Pusha T sat down with MTV News to talk about his first solo album, My Name is My Name, and his Life Is So Exciting Tour with Fabolous.
When Pusha T released the first Clipse album in 2002 with his brother Malice, the New York City born, Virginia Beach raised duo held their own and where ranked right along with some of the best rappers in the game. It's no surprise that Pusha T's long awaited solo debut, is expected to top charts. "I don't think there's any point on this album where I thought twice about anything I was about to say, regardless of who it might've touched or affected or annoyed," Pusha Told MTV News.

His G.O.O.D. Music boss, Kanye West also feels confident about Pusha T’s album. "He was like, 'Damn you painted some hell of a picture in this joint,' " Pusha said of Kanye West. "I was like, 'Well, I guess the streets will be happy.' "
Pusha T is currently on tour with Fabolous, for The Life Is So Exciting Tour. Both Pusha T and Fabolous are both preparing to release new albums. Pusha's will drop July 16, and Fab will drop June 18.
