Angelina Jolie Joins The Opposition Against Trump's Anti-Refugees Executive Order

President Donald J Trump's controversial executive order imposing a ban on immigrants has attracted widespread criticism from around the world and even within the American government. Those opposing Trump's controversial anti-immigrant bill include the highest ranks of Canadian, British, German, Turkish and Arab governments.

According to Telegraph, some 900 officials of the US state department have signed an internal "dissent memo" against the executive order which is unprecedented move in the US history. The Diplomates and foreign service officials termed the anti-immigrant executive order against the values of American democracy.

Among all the opposition, the loveliest echo can be heard from the charming celebrity Angelina Jolie. Writing in the New York Times on last Thursday, Angelina said that the controversial executive order that restricts entry of US citizen from seven Muslim countries into the United States will only serve terrorism.

Angelina warned that the move will create more instability, hatred and violence. She said that war-torn men, women and children deserve sympathy. She further wrote in the New York Times "Every government must balance the needs of its citizens with its international responsibilities. But our response must be measured and should be based on facts, not fear"

Recovering from a recent split with her husband Brad, Angelina said that the World is facing the largest refugee crisis since World War II. In another development, the Canadian Prime Minister tweeted on hi twitter account that Canadians will welcome those feeling persecution, terror and war. He further tweeted that diversity our strength and regardless of your (refugees) faith.

Deputy Attorney General of the United States was fired by US president because she was of the view that Attorney General's job is loyalty to the law, not the president. Founder and owner of the Facebook Mark Zuckerberg posted his opposition to the Trump's anti-immigrant order on Facebook. Mark Zuckerberg said that his forefathers were refugees and he is upset with Trump's decision.

Trump called the Saudi and UAE leaders on the issue. Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates are not among the seven banned countries.
