Nintendo has officially finished "Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild". The company, together with Monolith Soft has just celebrated "Zelda: Breath of The Wild" going gold.
WWG reports that the team behind "Zelda: Breath of The Wild" has officially gone gold and has already finished the game's production. A game goes "gold" when its production is already finished. After that, it is then shipped to manufacturers for retail.
The news was shared on Twitter by Monolith Soft developer Yasuyuki Honne, together with Shigeru Miyamoto and the "Zelda: Breath of The Wild" team. Monolith Soft, the ones responsible for the "Xenoblade" series, was called up by Nintendo to help create the open world elements of the game.
Now that "Zelda: Breath of The Wild" is now done, producer Eiji Aonuma has said that there might be another Zelda game coming, made specifically for the Nintendo Switch. "Zelda: Breath of The Wild" was originally made for the Wii U, but then Nintendo has announced that they will be ceasing the handheld's production.
However, this does not mean that "Zelda: Breath of The Wild" is a hundred percent done, reports GameRant. Like other game releases, it is possible that the game will get a day one update.
Nintendo is yet to confirm whether "Zelda: Breath of The Wild" will get a day one update though, but it is possible that the company will be releasing the game with already zero problems. Also, "Zelda: Breath of The Wild" is 13.4GB heavy - that is almost half of the Switch's storage capacity which is just 32GB compared to Sony and Microsoft's gaming consoles that has a minimum of 500GB storage capacity. Given this, it is highly unlikely that Nintendo will be releasing a day one update for "Zelda: Breath of The Wild".
"Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild", Nintendo's most anticipated game, is scheduled to be released beside the Nintendo Switch on March 3.
