"Dragon Ball Super" released the Universe Survival saga last Sunday. Old characters are being shown in the anime again together with new characters from the other universes. But before the anticipated martial arts tournament, we might see a one-off match.
The All-UniverseTournament will decide the fate of the universes, and with this, all beings will cease to exist. But before everything else, FujiTVreported that there will be "whole game match" and the match will be attended by Omni-King. FujiTV also reported that a new opening and ending song is available for Dragon Ball Super's new arc. The opening song is titled "Transcendence ☆ Dynamic!" by Kazuya Yoshii and the ending song is "Light Crimson" by Lacco Tower.
As reported by IGN, the Saiyans are the being on the spotlight for too long, that's why old characters are being brought back. The majority of Dragon Ball episodes are focused on these golden haired Saiyan creatures. It is a good thing that Dragon Ball Super is fixing that problem with balancing characters.
The first episode of Dragon Ball Super's new arc comes with a soft start. Bulma is having her second child and Vegeta is all nervous. He awaits for his second child being born, so when Goku begged him to train with Whis, he declined and insisted on staying behind. So Goku went to Beerus and with Whis and without Vegeta. Beerus announced the upcoming Universe Tournament.
In this tournament, all universes are participating, with the most powerful team representing each. Universe 7 will be represented all-Earth participants; Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Krillin, Android 17, Android 18, Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Master Roshi, and Majin Buu.
The animation seems to be adapting the old animation from DBZ. Old viewers might find this very nostalgic, but it might look odd on newer viewers. The FunimationNow, Crunchyroll, and Daisuke are the streaming partners of Dragon Ball Super.
