The tension between "Idol" judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey continues, as the two divas in their own right had another verbal sparing match on live TV last night.

As Mariah was giving feed back to a contestant, Candace Miller and Nicki interrupted her with a juvenile jab at the "Emancipation of Mimi" singer; by waving a Q-tip at her and telling her to "clean them ears out." Mariah disagreed with Nicki's earlier comments to Miller. Nicki told Miller. Every time you do your higher notes you get into instantly," she said to Miller. "It's like your face, it's like your body transforms. So just get to the beginning to there-just stay in it."

But when the trained vocalist and Grammy Award winning singer, Mariah had the floor to offer comments, she made a point to note that she had a different opinion. "We can't expect everything to be at the top of your register," she said. "There has to be a build. So I must disagree with certain members of the panel that every moment's got to be at the top..."

Well out came the Q-tips! Nicki pulled a Q-tip out of her cosmetic bag and said "Let me give you a Q-tip so you can clean them ears." The audience was in shock at Nicki's behavior. However Mariah took the comment in stride as she continued to address the contestant but passive aggressively shut Nicki down. Mariah said, "Darling, let me express this to her as a singer. Just sing from your heart every time and your notes will continue to shine regardless of the "dirt" that gets splattered around you."

It seems like the "Idol" cat fights will be entertaining guests all the way until the end. Will Nicki and Mariah ever go back to their "Up Out My Face" days?
