‘The Vampire Diaries’: Come Back Of Elena In Season 8 Finale

Since "Vampire Diaries" has drawn to an end CW dropped its first teaser of the series finale which was aired at the monumental event on February 13. The teaser timed 10-seconds features none other than Elena Gilbert who the main character of the show is probably confused as she wakes up from her magical slumber.

The CW's most watched show "The Vampire Diaries" has its finale confirmed with its release around March 10. The character of Elena Gilbert is likely to be back on season 8 with a possibility of having her memories lost.  

Elena Gilbert who had died and was sent to the coffin at the end of season 6 will have her comeback in season 8 in her physical form. The fleeting teaser also delivers fans with the nostalgia of Mystic Falls by showing a photo of Elena, Caroline, and Bonnie of their cheer leading days. The Camera shots have been seen lingering on Elena's high school trophy cabinet which gives the fans a vague idea about Elena returning back to Mystic Falls High School, reported MTV.

The voice that heard in the finale teaser is likely to be Elena's and not Katherine, as the character of Elena is more innocent and can be said be confused about her return to Mystic Falls. Whereas it would not be the same in Katherine's case as she is seen to be bolder and firm in her decisions throughout the show, as per Carter Matt.

Since it was confirmed that Dobrev will be appearing in season 8, the fans were not yet sure what character will be she be back in, Elena or Katherine, as the two doppelgangers the most prominent characters of the show.

As in season 6, it was evident that Elena has to remain dead for bonnie to be alive, the finale would bring out the suspense of whether Bonnie would die if Elena comes. Bonnie who had been so many terrible things in her life and sacrificed herself for the ones she loves, the fans intent to see her have a happy ending with not misery and pain.
