20-year-old singer and actress Demi Lovato revealed in a recent interview with Company magazine that he stint in rehab made her realize who her real friends were. Lovato, who is a judge on "The X Factor," admits that after her 3-month stay in rehab she found out who her true friends were and has since diminished her social circle. The "Skyscraper" singer said that she expected a lot of support after leaving treatment for bipolar disorder, cutting and an eating disorder, but was unpleasantly surprised.

"A couple of months before I went to rehab, I had a birthday party and there were a couple of hundred people there. It was full of people who I considered my closest friends," she said. "When I turned my phone on after being in rehab for three months, I expected lots of text messages and phone calls. I had four texts. That was a wake up call."

"I don't have loads of friends," Demi confessed. "I used to, but then I realized, do any of them actually care? Now I have people who, if I break my leg in the middle of the night, they'll come to the hospital with me. Or they'll answer the phone at 4 a.m. if I need them."

Demi used to be the BFF of fellow singer/actress Selena Gomez. Lovato does not mention her in this interview.

This Company magazine interview also touched on some other celebrities, too. Lovato got the chance to share her opinion on fellow pop singers Taylor Swift and Harry Styles of One Direction, who broke up in January of this year. Well, it was more of a lack of an opinion that she decided to share.

"I don't care about Taylor Swift's love life. I don't care about Harry Styles's love life," Lovato said. "I care about mine. I find it weird that people are so obsessed with other people's love lives!"
