During a recent interview on "Live with Kelly & Michael," actress Lauren Graham had the chance to open up about her relationship with boyfriend and costar Peter Krause. Though the two play siblings on the hit family drama "Parenthood," Graham and Krause have a healthy real-life romance. Host Ripa called the relationship a "little creepy," considering the on-screen dynamic of the two but Lauren said it works for them.

Graham and Krause have been dating for the past four years, but they actually first met on the set of "Caroline in the City" back in 1995 when they were both guest starring. Graham

"I think we liked each other [but] but he asked me over to his house to play a board game -- and that's exactly what we ended up doing," the former "Gilmore Girls" star recalled. "So I was like, this guy doesn't like me. Who actually plays a board game?"

Lauren Graham also recently wrote a book! The novel, "Someday, Someday, Maybe" follows the story of a young aspiring actress named Franny Banks who lives in New York City during the 1990s. Graham recently had the chance to open up about the book and admitted that she can relate to the character.

"I don't know why I don't pick up knitting or watercolors," the 46-year-old actress said. "But I wanted to write a book. There were times and days when it was fun and exhilarating and a lot of days where it was really hard."

"I was more interested in (the) waiting, auditioning ... and that feeling when you're on the outside of something looking in. So many people in general and young actors specifically spend so much time there, and many people never get beyond that, I just thought that's what I wanted to focus on.

"In the '90s, the way you kept your calendar was to write it down, and I well remember at the end of a year you could look back and see literally, physically your year. ... So much of being an actor at any level is waiting. Especially when you're starting out, the waves are even more dramatic of nothing versus something."
