‘King Arthur: Legend of the Sword’ Charlie Hunnam Fights To Take Back The Throne

Warner Bros Pictures just dropped an official trailer for "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword." In the trailer, it shows how Charlie Hunnam, from innocent guy to "The guy who pulled the sword from the stone" and fight to take back what is stolen from him.

Jude Law who played as Vortigern has been his Uncle who killed his parents while he was a kid and stole the crown to be a king. "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" also starred Eric Bana as Arthur's father, King Uther Pendragon, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey who played as Mage, Djimon Hounsou who reprise the role as Bedivere, and Aidan Gillen as Goosefat Bill. Showbiz Junkies reported that writers include Joby Harold and Lionel Wigram. Guy Ritchie who also direct this movie, Joby Harold,T ory Tunnell, and Steve Clark-Hall produced the movie. David Dobkin and Bruce Berman, Lionel Wigram, Akiva Goldsman,a lso serves as the Executive Producers.

Meanwhile, the last film entitled "King Arthur" which was released last 2004 has received negative reviews as well as underwhelming box office. The movie is based on Arthurian Legend, yet "Legend of the Sword" goes with a very different interpretation of the Legend.

In the trailer, Charlie Hunnam has been clueless who he truly is but after he pulled the sword he has no choice but to acknowledge his true legacy. Arthur has to fight against his Uncle but before that he was also trained how to use the sword from a mysterious young woman named Guinevere.

Deadline also reported, that Charlie Hunnam was last seen at Guillermo Del Toro's "Crimson Peak"as well as "The Lost City of Z." These movies was also shown at the Berlin Film Festival. Hunnam is also set to remake the 1973 crime drama, "Papillon."

"King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" will only be distributed in selected territories in North America by Warner Bros Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures. The movie will be released in theaters on March 24.
