Robin Thicke is back with new top charting hit "Blurred Lines" featuring Pharell Williams and "GIve It To Me" featuring 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar. Currently he is promoting his upcoming album Blurred Lines and Robin and on one of his New York promo stops Robin stopped to chat with The Breakfast Club about singing at Michael Jordan's wedding, his wife Paula Patton, the success with "Blurred Lines,"being compared to Justin Timberlake, and more.
Robin has been very busy lately promoting his upcoming album. He sang at Michael Jordan's wedding April 27, is the newest musician to be the face of Pill Beats, and has a No.1 song in more than 10 countries. While the R&B crooner has a soulfoul voice and undeniable sex appeal, he is not to be confused with Justin Timberlake. Justin and Robin may have a lot in common vocally, however there are many things that still sets them apart. DJ Envy said that Justin Timberlake's song, "Suit and Tie," has a Robin Thicke feel. Robin agreed that he an JT both make great music, and that their is plenty of room for everybody.
Robin says that he and Justin have similar inspirations, "We are both white, we both came from the culture of Michael Jackson, Prince and Al Green..."
While Robin Thicke continues to claim his individuality he aslo revealed to The Breakfast Club why he left Kevin Hart's Real Husbands of Hollywood, what songs he sang for Michael Jordan and his new bride Yvette Prieto, and the realities of interacial marriages.
