Nokia is set for a major comeback after launching its first Android smartphone in China last Jan. 19, when all stocks were completely sold out in just one minute. And now, Nokia is yet to reveal another product to join its Android device line-up this month at Mobile World Congress 2017.
The newest device from Nokia is said to be sporting a huge 18.4-inch running Android 7.0 Nougat that was seen after being benchmarked on GFXBench. The Operating System is listed as "Android FIH Edition" with FIH Mobile. FIH Mobile, a subsidiary of manufacturing giant Foxconn, is the company that owns the rights to the Nokia brand, according to TechWorm.
The Nokia tablet is rumored to feature the same of those high-end tablets. Interestingly the device comes with a 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 835 SoC, Android 7.0 Nougat with 64 GB Internal Memory, a 4GB RAM. The device also comes with LTE Connectivity, Bluetooth, Compass, GPS and NFC and a 2560 x 1440 pixel touchscreen display with 5 finger gesture support, Neowin shared.
On the other hand, the huge 18.4- inch Nokia Tablet features two cameras, front and rear both in 12 Megapixels. The cameras are both capable of UHD (4K) video recording. Some other features of Nokia Tablet include an accelerometer, barometer, pedometer, compass, gyroscope, light sensor and a proximity sensor.
Now, the new Nokia tablet is said to be competing against the Samsung Galaxy view which also released a tablet with the same size. With Nokia's major comeback, this means that Nokia is rebuilding its way up to the market in the world of Technologies.
There are still rumors coming up with the device before it launches, ranging from International availability of possible software in the future to hardware concept and specification. Nevertheless, Nokia has yet brought another excitement for consumers and we all can't wait for that.
