Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck may be heading for reconciliation and not divorce. A source revealed that the exes have been working hard to fix their marriage.
It has been over two years since Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck announced they were ending their ten-year marriage, yet neither party has filed for divorce. Recent reports revealed that Garner is ready to file the divorce, although a source claimed otherwise. The insider claimed that a reconciliation is likely to happen instead.
It seems Jennifer Garner might not push through with the divorce anymore. The source revealed that she and Ben Affleck are looking for ways to fix their marriage, instead of ending it. They have reportedly been going on trips alone together to improve their communication.
Likewise, the insider claimed that their relationship remains intact. Nothing has changed since the time they both announced their separation. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are still spending time together. "Their relationship is very fluid and nothing has really changed. They have been working on their relationship for the past few years," the source told E! News.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck do not live in the same house anymore. However, the "Batman V Superman" star still lives on the same property. They have also been successful at co-parenting their three children, to the point that it confuses people about the real status of their marriage.
Fans may also remember that Jennifer Garner confessed that she still loves Ben Affleck in her interview with Variety. She called him the love of her life even after they separated and she learned about his affair with their children's nanny. Garner also cast doubt on the divorce, when she hinted at their reconciliation.
She admitted that she would not hesitate to remarry Ben Affleck. "I didn't marry the big fat movie star; I married him. I would go back and remake that decision," Jennifer Garner said.
Regardless, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have remained mum on talks about their possible reconciliation. It remains uncertain if they would keep their marriage, until either file for a divorce.
