"Mean Girls" catapulted Lindsay Lohan to fame. The film was a pop-culture phenomenon and up to this time, its sequel is in talks. Lohan is open to making "Mean Girls 2" and here's the update from her.
Lindsay Lohan is desperate to do "Mean Girls 2." According to her, she visited SNL to ask Lorne Michaels for the sequel. She even offered to write the treatment if the screenwriter and her co-star Tina Fey is too busy to do it.
"I went to SNL the other day and I was, like, harassing Lorne Michaels, I'm like we have to do," Lohan told E! News about her SNL visit. Although there were no words from Michaels and Fey about "Mean Girls 2," Lindsay Lohan was positive about the film. "They're smart with timing. It will come when the time is right. It's a great movie. It's a cult film."
Lohan admitted that she was aware of how busy Fey, Michaels and Paramount Pictures are. However, she promised to push "Mean Girls 2" and even added that she wanted to cast Jamie Lee Curtis and Jimmy Fallon in the sequel.
Lindsay Lohan admitted that she wanted to create her own movies. The "The Parent Trap" star who had experienced her highs and lows in the industry is determined to have a good return in the spotlight.
Lohan said that she wants to stay focus and surround herself with good people. She loves spirituality, practices meditation and even created a mind map when she turned 30.
Lindsay Lohan admitted that she was addicted to drugs and alcohol. The troubled actress was arrested for possession of cocaine and driving under the influence with a suspended license. She spent a couple of days in jail and months in rehabilitation.
"I want my career back. I know that I'm a damn good actress, and it's been my passion since I was a child," Lohan told Vanity Fair. The actress added that she puts her 100 percent when she wants something.
