The Psy tour media tour continues. The international dancing and singing sensation showed up on the "Today" show Friday to perform his new mega hit "Gentleman" and teach host Matt Lauer how to dance to the song. In case you haven't heard, Psy now has two massive hits on his hands after releasing his second single "Gentleman" to huge fan fare. Psy's original hit "Gangnam Style" propelled him into super stardom faster than a speeding bullet.

I'm not sure if Psy is aware of the continuing drama and controversy surrounding NBC's "Today" show, but he probably helped the show out a lot by making Lauer seem like fun, the opposite of how he has been portrayed in the media recently. Lauer has been getting hit hard in the media and the world of public perception ever since former host Ann Curry was fired from the show. Ever since that day, Lauer and the "Today" show have received bad press surrounding the way Curry was let go.

Psy performed his single "Gentleman" then showed the anchors how to perform some of his dance moves. You can watch Psy and Lauer's dancing segment below. Lauer had some fun putting on white-rimmed glasses while performing the moves. Maybe this will help his perception.

Psy's new music video for "Gentleman" set a Guinness world record for the most viewed video online in 24 hours with over 38 million views. As of today (May 4) "Gentleman" has over 280 million views on YouTube. However, that still has a ways to go to overcome the more than 1.5 billion views "Gangnam Style" has.

The new song hasn't been without some controversy though. Some have found the video for "Gentleman" to be a bit offensive. In the video Psy plays various practical jokes on women like untying their bikini tops or pulling a chair out from underneath them. However, any controversy that has come up has been overshadowed by the overall success of Psy's second huge single.
