Samsung might soon release its much-anticipated phablet device, the Galaxy Note 8. Reports suggest the device is already been codenamed and it's called "Baikal." If reports are to be believed, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will feature cutting-edge specs.
Samsung had suffered a disaster in 2016 due to the battery bursting and explosion issues of Galaxy Note 7. Soon after the flagship phablet's release, millions of handset was recalled by the Samsung. Recently, South Korean tech giant reported that due to fault in the battery, the problem of the explosion came, Gadget 360 reported. It cost Samsung more than $5 billion.
This year Samsung will try to overcome the last year's blow. Reports say, in camera front, Galaxy Note 8 could have dual-edge primary 16 MP camera and 8 MP front facing camera. Notably, many few high-end devices have this technology.
Galaxy Note 8 is speculated to bring an all new design than its previous model. Note 8 might sport a bezel-less design with glass and metal finish and dual curved-edge display. Home button on the device could also be removed. What's more? It is reported that Samsung's flagship device probably marks a 4K display, Pcadvisor reported. It will be Samsung's first 4K display in any Smartphone.
In terms of hardware, Galaxy Note 8 is rumoured to have 256 GB internal memory and 6GB RAM. Iris scanner is also expected for Galaxy Note 8 for security purpose. The device is expected to run on Android 7.0 Nougat. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will go one-on-one with Apple's iPhone 7 Plus.
Fans of the device are waiting for its release sooner. But the release of Galaxy Note 8 is still not confirmed but it is expected to come in Q4 of 2017. Price is expected to be around $700 in US. Stay tuned for more Samsung updates.
