'The Amazing Race' Season 22 Finale: Who Will Win in 2013? Host Phil Keoghan Says Finish is 'Unpredictable'

CBS's "The Amazing Race" had a rough time in 2013 with season 22 having to overcome a controversy earlier this season involving an episode in which producers decided to use a B-52 in Hanoi, Vietnam as a part of the competition. The show would apologize before the next week's episode and now "The Amazing Race" season 22 finale airs tonight (Sunday, May 5) in what the network hopes will be a ratings winner. There are four pairs of racers left from the original 11, set to finish off the race for the $1 million prize.

The final four teams include the hockey playing brothers Bates and Anthony, newlyweds Max and Katie, roller derby moms Beth and Mona, and blonde country singers Caroline and Jennifer. Bates and Anthony may have the best chance of winning if the final leg of the race involves a lot of physical activity. They are clearly physically the strongest competitors left on the show, while also finishing in first place four times this season.

Max and Katie finished in first place on the two most recent legs of the tour and have no shortage of confidence. They are both smart, but their ego's make them arguably the most unlikeable pair left on the show. The hockey brothers and newlyweds are the front runners going into the final show, while the roller derby moms and country singers have yet to finish in first this season.

Both all female pairs are the underdogs going into the finale leg of the race, but anything can happen on "The Amazing Race." Host of the show, Phil Keoghan, told Yahoo! TV that the finish will be unpredictable. Does this mean the country singers or roller derby moms will end up winning? Keoghan tells Yahoo! TV that fans will be kept "guessing right until the end. As always, we have something of a stumbling block, which helps to facilitate an unpredictable finish."
