BioWare's highly anticipated game, "Mass Effect: Andromeda", went gold last Friday. The developing team is working on the day-one patch and has revealed that there will be a lot of new gameplay features and changes in the new game.

Last Friday, the BioWare "Mass Effect: Andromeda" went gold. In other words, it had finished developing the initial setup of the game. According to Dualshockers, the team is also working on the day-one patch for those who will be able to play the game through EA and Origin Access before the official launch on March 21. The game's producer, Michael Gamble, however, cautioned the players that there might still be last minute changes.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" gameplay features will have one notable absence. The Warp biotic power won't be in the new game because it will overlap with other powers. Also, the new "Mass Effect" will have a New Game+ where players will be able to get more casual outfits on the Tempest. The 2017 game will also mimic the "Mass Effect 3" peer-to-peer player feature.

Game players will also be glad to know that when they give out attack, defend, and rally commands, the squad mates' AI will incorporate the skill immediately in battle. As for the devices where buyers can play "Mass Effect: Andromeda," BioWare confirmed that it will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

According to Gamespot, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" specs for both PS4 and Xbox One reveal that the game will be somewhere around 40 to 60 GB. PC users, meanwhile, will need to make space for a file size of 55 GB and a video card of NVIDIA GTX 1060 3GB, AMD RX 480 4GB. It's going to be a hefty game and the day-one patch will add another heavy load.

Although the game will officially launch on March 21, loyal fans will be able to play through the multiplayer beta version. Gamers can check out the EA and Origin Access website updates for the pre-launch game. The day-one patch is set to be available around March 16, but the studio has warned that it's not a 100 percent certain as there might be developments done at the eleventh hour.
