'Teen Wolf' Season 6 Cast News: Crystal Reed Could Return for Finale; Stydia to Sink or Swim

The second half of "Teen Wolf" Season 6 will start shortly and showrunner Jeff Davis talked about Stiles and Lydia's relationship. Meanwhile, the producers have already teased the fans that old characters will return for the show's finale. Many are wondering if Crystal Reed will be back as Allison Argent.

Towards the end of the first ten episodes of "Teen Wolf" Season 6, fans witnessed Stydia becoming official. Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Lydia (Holland Roden) have been dancing around each other since Season 1 and they had their very big kiss during the end events of Season 6. Showrunner Jeff Davis told TV Line that many great relationships develop from strong friendships.

Davis warned viewers though that it will not be smooth sailing or riding into the sunset for Stydia. He said that fans will just have to watch whether Stiles and Lydia will stay together or whether they'll eventually decide to just be friends by the time the second half of "Teen Wolf" Season 6 ends.

Aside from the future of Stydia, fans will also be watching out for former characters that will be making a comeback. Davis had already expressed in several press interviews that he wants to bring back several characters for a "Teen Wolf" Season 6 farewell. Tyler Hoechlin is a fan favorite, as many viewers want to see him reprise his role as Derek Hale, who used to be Scott's own mentor and older brother figure.

There's also Dr. Deaton (Seth Gilliam) whom fans haven't seen in a while. Of course, there's also Crystal Reed, who played Allison Argent, Scott's first love. Reed was featured again in a later "Teen Wolf" season after her death in Season 3. She came back as Marie-Jeanne Valet, a French maiden who killed the first werewolf. Will she reappear in the later part of "Teen Wolf" Season 6?

According to Just Jared, there's a huge chance Reed could return, but will it be as Allison? The producers have hinted that Scott (Tyler Posey) and his pack will face their toughest opponent yet in "Teen Wolf" Season 6 part two. However, there has been no clue what kind of supernatural being it will be. Davis hinted that it will prey on the characters' fears and weaknesses.

It will bring back Scott's insecurities about not being able to have a life beyond Beacon Hills, but what if the creature also brings back Allison and Scott's heartache over her death? Reed can return as Allison or her ancestor, Marie-Jeanne. After all, even Stiles' dead mother made a short comeback due to the Wild Hunt. "Teen Wolf" Season 6B will start this summer.
