The newest global mission for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" took off on Feb. 28. It requires players of the game to accumulate 250,000 Battle Points from the Battle Tree.
Two hundred fifty thousand Battle Points sound like a long shot, but it is actually as easy as a pie. In fact, many who already played it was left disappointed even though they had to defeat Alola's Champion first. However, players can catch on another event that is more difficult. And that is acquiring Shiny Tapu Koko.
WWG made a great case about how easy the latest global mission is in "Pokemon Sun and Moon". The gaming site noted that players have already achieved 90 percent of the quest a few hours after it rolled out. Presumably, they would have finished it at the end of the day. Nevertheless, players who began and ended the global mission on the same day may have more of a challenge getting Shiny Tapu Koko.
Getting Shiny Tapu Koko has a catch, though. Anyone around the world could get the 4,000 Festival Points, 5 Rare Candies, and Heavy Ball reward from the latest "Pokemon Sun and Moon" mission because it was global. But players can only get the rare Pokemon only through 7-11 branches in Japan.
Still, there is a way for players outside of Japan to get their hands on Shiny Tapu Koko. Video Games Republic suggested those outside of Japan should look for players based in Japan willing to sell their codes. It is not exactly a global mission, the codes would still work regardless of the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" player's location.
But players who wish to own a Pokemon should not expect it to come cheap. That is because regular Tapu Koko itself is rare and legendary in "Pokemon Sun and Moon", thus, codes may come at a steep price. So it looks like the regionally available Pokemon will spark another global mission-like frenzy among players.
