The year 2016 was tough for Hollywood actor Brad Pitt. The media was a-buzz after announcements regarding the separation of the actor from Angelina Jolie were made. It's been pretty long since the split. However, it appears like the actor has found a new friend in his old and lost-love Jennifer Aniston. Brad Pitt has reportedly been texting ex-wife Jennifer Aniston post his split from Angelina Jolie.

According to a report published by Us Weekly, which cites a source who wishes to be unnamed, Brad Pitt has attempted at connecting with Jennifer Aniston again. He apparently tracked down Aniston's number to wish her a happy forty-eighth birthday recently and have been in touch ever since. Jennifer Aniston celebrated her birthday on eleventh of February and seemingly received an unexpected text from his ex, Brad Pitt.

The source further revealed that they have been talking ever since. In the middle of catching up with each other, Brad Pitt even confided in Jennifer Aniston regarding his split from Angelina Jolie. He told Aniston that he is having a hard time ever since his separation from long-time partner and recently-married wife Angelina Jolie. The duo even apparently remembered their older times, Mail Online reported.

The question whether this sudden friendship affects Jennifer Aniston's marriage with Justin Theroux still remains unanswered. However, the reports suggest that actor Justin Theroux is apparently okay with the new-found friendship as the conversations remains to messaging each other and nothing more or less.

Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from actor Brad Pitt in September, 2016. The two are currently battling over the custody of their children.
