"Hell Girl" fans, rejoice. "Jigoku Shoujo," as the anime is known in Japanese, will have another run this coming July with six new episodes and six other remembrance episodes. The series' official website has even put up the trailer for "Jigoku Shoujo Yoi no Togi."

The new "Hell Girl" anime's promotional campaign is a 35-second video that starts by reacquainting fans with the series' concept. Next, it shows Ai Enma, the girl who ferries tormented souls to hell. Unfortunately, aside from giving a glimpse of Enma's "victims," the trailer gives nothing away; however, it does show the list of staff and cast.

According to Anime News Network, the voice actors from the previous two "Hell Girl" seasons will reprise their roles with the exception of Misaki Watada. The voice actress was cast for the character of Michiru.

For the production staff, Hiroshi Watanabe is once again recognized as the originator of the new "Hell Girl" anime concept. Takahiro Omori will work alongside him to bring the series to life for Studio DEEN. Omori also directed the first "Hell Girl" and "Hell Girl: Two Mirrors." Mariko Oka will design the characters, Kanechi Kanemaki will compose the series and Yasuharu Takanashi will take care of the music.

Last February, reports of a new "Hell Girl" anime was revealed, Comic Book has learned. Manga readers noticed that two Japanese retailers, Tsutaya and Honya Club, listed a manga volume or tankobon. Fans noticed that both retailers described the contents of the volume and took notice of booklet inserts. These booklets spoke of a new season of the anime based on Miyuki Etoo's manga to begin in July. At the time, there was no official announcement yet from the makers of the anime.

The first "Hell Girl" series aired in 2005. Its following sequels, "Hell Girl: Two Mirrors" and "Hell Girl: Three Vessels" aired in 2006 and 2008 respectively. The series coming this July will mark the return of Enma Ai and her comrades in the new "Hell Girl."
