The new "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" trailer that was released on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Thursday shows a lot of Captain Jack Sparrow. After the latest "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" trailer release, it seems as if the makers of the Pirates of the Caribbean films had reserved the best of Johnny Depp (Jack Sparrow) for the last instalment.
The latest trailer of the "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" has come with a tagline "The Final Adventure Begins," which hints that this might be the last Pirates of the Caribbean film featuring Johnny Depp, E! News reported. The trailer features a flashback sequence and throws light on what must have happened in the past and why Captain Salazar is after Jack Sparrow's life.
The flashback sequence in the new "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" trailer shows a young Jack Sparrow on Captain Salazar's ship. In no time the tables turn and everything Captain Salazar once owned is now lost. Captain Salazar has only one person to blame for his miserable condition and that is Captain Jack Sparrow.
"He took everything from me and filled me with rage," says an angry Captain Salazar in the trailer. Years later, Captain Salazar is back with his army of the dead to seek revenge from Jack Sparrow. In the latest "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" trailer, Jack Sparrow can be seen running from Captain Salazar.
The new trailer also features a drunken and a pantsless Captain Jack Sparrow running away from dead ghosts searching for him. Captain Jack Sparrow is in search of the Trident of Poseidon that will give him the control of the seas and is his only hope of saving the pirates, Mstars News reported.
The "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" trailer released by Disney at the Super Bowl 2017 had given a glimpse of Johnny Depp returning as Captain Jack Sparrow. The Super Bowl trailer also had Orlando Bloom making a comeback as Will Turner. "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" hits theatres on May 26 this year.
