Fifth Harmony member, Camila Cabello opened up about her, leaving the group. Now, rumors started to ignite that there has been tension between the rest of the group and Camila Cabello.
In an interview with Billboard, Camila Cabello said that there's always going to be tension, whether it's because of thing or another thing. She hoped that leaving the group would turn out peaceful and added that she hasn't talked to the band, though, she did reach out to them.
However, another Fifth Harmony member, Lauren Jauregui seemingly slams Camila Cabello's statement in that interview with Billboard magazine. On Lauren's Twitter on Tuesday, Feb.14, she posted, "Fake that confidence bih, one day it'll be real."
Now, rumors about the group fighting started after that Twitter post. According to Cosmopolitan, the tension between the group started last December. It was when Fifth Harmony only knew that Camila Cabello is quitting through her representatives.
After hearing her band's statement, Cabello then released a statement saying, "I was shocked to read the statement the Fifth Harmony account posted without my knowing." Camila wrote. "2016 is the year of #FakeNews, after all," she added.
According to Camila, she was blindsided by the statement. The other members of the group were aware of her feelings during their tour and knew that she would be leaving the group and not through her representatives. Furthermore, she didn't want things to end that way between her and the group.
Camila Cabello is currently working on her solo career while Fifth Harmony performed as a four-member group during the People's Choice Awards 2017 at Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on Jan.18. In addition, even Camila Cabello already left the group, she is still rooting for the group and has always loved them.
