"This Is Us" might feature Justin Hartley's Kevin in a nude scene in one of the episodes. That is if producers take the actor's interest to strip down into writing.
It seems Hartley has no problem stripping down for the camera. The actor even admitted that he is open to bare his naked body in "This Is Us" if it is necessary to tell a story. The former "The Young and the Restless" star opened up about his interest to see Kevin strip nude in the series in an interview with "The Talk."
According to US Weekly, Hartley even expressed his disappointment at the lack of Kevin's nude scene in "This Is Us." The 40-year old heartthrob jokingly said that he is a little disheartened that the writers have not asked him to bare his naked bum, much like what his co-star Milo Ventimiglia did in the premiere episode. "I'm a little upset about it. I mean, what does that say? Am I losing it?" Hartley said.
Regardless of his interest to strip down, Hartley said that there is one person who hopes it never happens. His mother does not want to see Kevin naked in "This Is Us."
However, one thing that Hartley does not want to do is the gratuitous scenes, according to People. The actor admitted that he has no problem taking his shirt off, as what viewers saw in the pilot episode of "This Is Us." He may have to pass doing the gratuitous scenes though especially since he is a father to 12-year old Isabella Justice, his daughter with ex-wife Lindsay.
It remains unclear if Hartley's Kevin will strip naked in "This Is Us." In the meantime, the actor said that he will leave the butt naked scenes to Ventimiglia since he is good at it.
