Jane Levy [VIDEO]: 'Evil Dead' Actress' Secret Marriage to Jaime Freitas Ends in Divorce, Nobody Knew for Years!

In March of 2011, budding actress Jane Levy married Jaime Freitas and then the two separated in October of that same year. Just last month the two filed the divorce papers, making the 23-year-old Suburgatory and Shameless actress officially single. This would be pretty irrelevant news story talking about a recently "on the market" young actress, accept in this case it is a little stranger. Nobody had any idea the young actors were even married! So when the story broke about the divorce, most fans of the actress were plain confused!

Citing irreconcilable differences, Levy filed divorce papers on April 18, 2013, which was about 1 and a half years after she and Freitas separated back in October of 2011. The two were married for just about 7 months before legally separating, according to court papers. It seems like the break up was pretty quick but how come the divorce took so long? Also, why did nobody know about this at all?

Perhaps the answer to both questions is that Levy was busy with her newfound fame and did not want to tarnish it?

The Suburgatory star has shot to fame in the last two years thanks to the success of the popular ABC sitcom, which also stars Jeremy Sisto and Cheryl Hines. In the show, Levy plays Tessa Altman, a teenager who moves to the suburbs from New York City with her single father (Sisto) and is none-too-pleased about her new surroundings.

The only other known news about this divorce is that Jane does not want to pay spousal support to Jaime. Expect this story to grow since the young star has a bright future ahead of her and someone will start talking soon enough.
