‘Ghost Recon: Wildlands’ Review: Critical Round-Up

The game was released only a few days ago, but "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" reviews are already a dime a dozen. And so far, the response has been just as wild as the game: mostly good.

Most critics have withheld their judgments for a while, even though the game went live on Mar. 7. That is because the Bolivian-set game relies on online cooperative gaming to make it more fun. One of those waiting to send out their "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" review is GameSpot. However, the gaming website already has issued their initial impressions of the Ubisoft Paris creation.

According to them, the latest Tom Clancy tactical shooter game still features tracking of marked enemies through walls. Although it is almost like cheating, it helps with the team to come up with enemy fight strategies. But their "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" review says it remains to be seen whether or not it can appeal the same way its last predecessor did.

Meanwhile, IGN gave a score of 7.9 out of 10 in their "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" review. In their critique, they said that one of the best features of the game is its large map. And the in-game version of Bolivia also offers chances to bring down cartel bosses, resources and more. Additionally, it is great visually and players can roam around the map at will. Plus, the way the player or players interact with the environment will have a bearing on the way they play later on. However, though there are a lot of upsides in the game, there are issues. And the vehicles and the invariability of missions. Nevertheless, they still make a mark because of the bosses.

Several other websites also pointed out some ups and downs in their respective "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" reviews. One said that the game's co-op feature is its saving grace. And another said that its glitches are only minor things that do not ruin the game altogether.
