'The Originals' Season 4 Spoilers: Marcel Sets Klaus Free; City Under Attack By New Vampires

"The Originals" Season 4 is set five years from the events of last season’s finale. The prophecy has been fulfilled with the Mikaelsons having met their downfall. Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) defeated Klaus (Joseph Morgan), making him the king of New Orleans once again. In the premiere, however, Marcel will encounter new enemies who want nothing more than to oust him from his position.

In the “The Originals” Season 4 premiere titled “Gather Up the Killers,” Marcel will allow the un-sired vampires to enter the city. This is something that Klaus would never have allowed. Marcel’s decision can be his undoing and he will soon realize that he made a huge mistake. The new vampires will gang up on him to try and dethrone him.

“The Originals” Season 4 spoilers tease that having been backed into a corner, Marcel will seek help from an unlikely source. The promo that have come out for the premiere hints that it is Klaus that he will be asking advice from. In the promo, the Tunde blade that Marcel stabbed in Klaus’s chest is gone. Although shackled, Klaus appears to be in better condition.

Marcel appears to be still angry at him and emphasizes to Klaus that he is now the king. There are speculations that Marcel will set aside his pride and ask advice from Klaus on how to best fight the impending uprising of the new vampires in “The Originals” Season 4. Without the Mikaelson family to support him, he has no choice but to seek counsel from Klaus.

Meanwhile, it is up to Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) to find a way to wake up the Mikaelsons. “The Originals” Season 4 spoilers indicate that she needs to face one final task to achieve that goal according to TV Line. She will be successful in waking them up. In turn, they will be the ones to rescue Klaus from Marcel.

Other “The Originals” Season 4 spoilers include something happening that will allow Klaus to be reunited with his daughter, Hope (Summer Fontana). She is now seven years old and is being touted to be the most powerful among the Mikaelsons. Hayley’s relationship with Elijah (Daniel Gillies) will also be further explored in the new season.

Meanwhile, viewers will learn of Vincent’s backstory in the new season where he will discover a sinister haunting. Finally, Leah Pipes, who plays Camille, is also being rumored to return to the series. But, she may just appear in Klaus’ imagination says an Entertainment Weekly report. “The Originals” Season 4 will premiere on March 17 on The CW.
