Angelina Jolie Is Now A Lecturer At The London School of Economics

Hollywood's high profile actress Angelina Jolie has now become a lecturer and gave her first speech today at the London School of Economics. The filmmaker and activist, 41, arrived at the Centre for Women, Peace, and Security.

According to E! News, Angelina will begin teaching her master's course in September on the same subject. She will be assigned as a visiting professor at the London School of Economics. Jolie's highly discussed lecture had some major areas of focus including women's rights in the context of refugee camps. The lecture by Angelina Jolie also highlighted the vulnerability of girls and women to sexual violence and crimes, especially when there are living their lives as refugees.

Also discussed were various policy works that are put into practice by governments. The conditions of women rights also became a part of Jolie's lecture. "Angelina Jolie spoke to a class of students taking the postgraduate course 'Women, Peace and Security,' as part of her role as a visiting professor in practice in the Centre for Women, Peace, and Security," a spokesperson for LSE tells People.

During the lecture, Angelina Jolie also spoke about her own experiences as a special envoy and co-founder of the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative. She later indulged into a healthy question-answer session with the class students, at the London School of Economics.

Angelina Jolie also reunited with Lord Hague, Monday morning in London, where she gave her views. It was the fifth anniversary of the initiative where Jolie spoke, at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. As per a report in the magazine, Jolie believes that the kind of violence and abuse women go through is absolutely a clear crime and needs to be dealt under the law. Angelina also contended that incidents of crimes on women especially when there is an ongoing war like situation, become almost impossible to prevent.
