Since spring last year, Kelly Ripa has not announced who her next co-host will be in "Live!" The veteran host who has been accused of being a high maintenance TV personality is allegedly struggling to find someone to partner up with.
It appears that Kelly Ripa still couldn't make a choice. The Wrap notes that "Live!" has so far shown 66 guest co-hosts since Michael Strahan's shocking exit. Ripa has since not chosen who will sit with her for good.
There have been rumors suggesting that Kelly Ripa's high maintenance stints and diva attitude could be contributing to the drama. "Live!" co-founder Regis Philbin has said previously that Ripa isn't the sweetest girl in town when he left the show in 2011. It appears that there could still be bad blood between the former partners.
As for Michael Strahan, he has previously denied that there are issues between him and Kelly Ripa. He also said that he is still part of the "Live!" family. When he departed from the show last year, Ripa went missing for a week. The two reunited a week later and everything was explained.
Meanwhile, Decider reports that among the people who have been rumored to take over Michael Strahan's "Live!" spot is Anderson Cooper. However, it appears that Cooper is busy with his own projects for CNN. He renewed his contract with the network and thus, the end of his alleged move to the morning show with Kelly Ripa.
There's also Andy Cohen, who appeared on "Live!" a couple of times after Strahan's exit. Some fans noted that there is chemistry between Cohen and Kelly Ripa. Others believed he would make an amazing partner. However, Cohen is also busy with his ABC projects.
As fans continue to wait for the big Kelly Ripa announcement, "Live!" seems to be struggling with viewer ratings. The highest figures that the show garnered ever since Michael's Strahan's exit was when Megyn Kelly appeared as a co-host last year.
