The Legendary Pokemon from the Pokemon universe are extremely powerful, but they're hard to find. Despite almost a year of its release, "Pokemon Go!" still hasn't released one of these mythical beasts. But fans could be looking at a Mew and Mewtwo under their tables not so long now. Niantic CEO mentioned that the popular augmented reality game might be able to add Mew/Mewtwo and other legendaries in the game on year end.
According to Trusted Reviews, Niantic CEO John Hanke stated that "we will see more of it this year" when asked about the Legendary Pokemon. On his interview with Wired Germany, Hanke is hinting that Legendaries, or some of them, might be released in the wild this year. These powerful creatures will be rarer than Unown and Dragonite as they are the Legendaries. There is still no clue on how they will be released in "Pokemon Go!".
As reported by Polygon, Mew and Mewtwo are set to appear on "Pokemon Go!" at year's end. This will greatly affect the game as these two Pokemon is very powerful. The Legendary Birds are said to be debuting with Mew and Mewtwo this year. It can be remembered that Niantic accidentally gave Articuno to one of the players. This means that the legendaries project has started.
Niantic wants to capture the essence of the main game to "Pokemon Go!". Tatsuo Nomura, director of the game, states that there are reasons why some of the Pokemon are released late. He explained that thought process in an interview on the Game Developer's Conference.
"The value of Pokémon is that each one is very unique, and they have their own stories and characteristics," he explained. "I do want to preserve and if possible enhance that aspect as they're not all the same."
