Avril Lavigne 'Here's To Never Growing Up' [VIDEO] Canadian Songstress Memory Lane Skateboard, Chuck Taylor Vintage 'Complicated' Look for Prom Themed Video

Avril Lavigne says 'F" growing up and who can blame her?  With adulthood comes responsibilites that we just want to ignore. The Canadian starlet released her latest video for her single "Here's To Never Growing Up," taking fans on a blast to the past with her signature "Complicated" look.

Avril donned Converse, her skateboard, and boyfriend style shorts for her prom themed video. MTV News caught up with Avril and her band on the set and she explained the concept behind the video and more.

"We're at prom, and the guys look amazing," she told MTV. "I had my own concept for this video. And then last minute, we changed it because the director came up with a concept and the concept was just 'prom.' And that was really it."

The simple concept fit perfectly with the song and Avril's overall rebellious image. Fans travel back in time to her punk days as she skateboards up and down hallways shouting the lyrics to her new song.

"Never Growing Up" is the lead single off Lavigne's follow-up to 2011's Goodbye Lullaby. It was co-written by her fiance, Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger. The album is slated to drop later this year, according MTV News.
