Queens Of The Stone Age New Album: QOTSA Debut 'I Sat By The Ocean', 'If I Had A Tail' On Belgian Radio Show

In case you haven't heard Queens of the Stone Age have a new album coming out on June 4 titled ...Like Clockwork. They have already debuted "My God is the Sun" and a teaser for "I Appear Missing," now they've given us two more full tracks to tide fans until the summer album drops, "I Sat By The Ocean" and "If I Had A Tail."

"If I Had A Tail" is an ultra blues-y rock jam that only kind of hints at the QOTSA of yesteryear in two areas: Homme's immediately recognizable voice and the riff at the closing seconds. "I Sat By The Ocean" starts much in the same way, as a mid-tempo stomp. But quickly turns into the sort of song we'd expect from Josh and Co., big crunchy rythyms and high-pitched to the point of sounding electronic guitar bends and squeals.

...Like Clockwork will include a number of superstar contributors because this is 2013. Trent Reznor and Elton John both appear on the album and Dave Grohl returns for the first time since Songs for The Deaf on drums.
