Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Are Talking Again, Things Have Calm Down After Split

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie did not have an amicable split as Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. The "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" stars were reportedly caught in a messy divorce and custody battle but things had calmed down since the split.

Brad Pitt, 53, and Angelina Jolie, 41, are reportedly in speaking terms again. The communication is finally backed for the first time. "Things have calmed settled between Brad and Angelina. It's not as tense as it had been," one source told E! News.

The insider added that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's conversation was limited but positive. The estranged couple stopped talking after the plane incident. Everything was carried out through their assistants and lawyers and what went down on the press.

Just like Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's priority now is the best interest of their children. Their conversation is about their children as they try to mend what has happened. "Right now they are only speaking about the kids and their schedules, but it's a positive step."

Meanwhile, Brad Pitt has found a new life after his mucho-publicized breakup with the "Maleficent" star. The "Allied" actor is reportedly in sculpting. In fact, he is doing his own piece and spends 15 hours in the studio while listening to emotional songs.

Brad Pitt is joined by his British artist friend Thomas Houseago and the latter's assistant. However, Angelina Jolie's ex stayed behind at night and continues his sculpture all night long. Many believe that this is Pitt's way of recovering from all the pains the split from Jolie has caused him.

"Everybody knows it's related to what's going on with him personally, but nobody says anything. He's a quiet guy, and very humble. He's learning at a fast pace," the source told Daily Mail. "Art is a way for him to concentrate on one thing, taking his mind off everything else. He'd rather do that and be constructive than go out partying."
