It's been a few months since Lil Wayne was first hospitalized for seizures (an event that led to some wild speculations about the rapper's death). After the media circus, Weezy admitted that he suffers from epilepsy. Now, in the wake of yet another hospitalization, Wayne has released more details about his condition.
Wayne said he has no memory of the seizures in an interview with MTV's RapFix.
"I go to sleep and wake up in the hospital," the rapper said. "No warning, no nothing. I don't feel sick. I get headaches real bad. And the headaches? I didn't get no headaches or nothing.
"I don't feel anything," he added. "I'm 100, I just hope it stops happening."
Lil Wayne was hospitalized with seizures mere days before the release of I Am Not A Human Being II. Upon being released from Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, he came clean about his condition.
6, "I'm an epileptic, so I'm prone to seizures," the rapper said in an interview with Power 106." I've had a bunch of seizures. Y'all just never hear about it. This time it got real bad because I got three of 'em in a row, and on the third one, my heart rate went down to, like, 30%. Basically, I could have died soon. That's why it was so serious. The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest and overworking myself."
Wayne assured people he is following doctor's orders to "sleep and eat right.
