Nikolaj Coster-Waldau teased what happens to Cersei Lannister in "Game of Thrones" Season 7 in a recent interview. He hinted at the death of the villain from the hands of her brother Jaimie.

Jaimie Lannister seems to have opened his eyes to the true evil that his sister Cersei has become in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. Whether he joins her reign of terror in Kings Landing remains unknown. However, Jaimie is starting to realize that no goodness will come out of his alliance with his sister.

At least this is what Waldau teased when asked about Jaimie's relationship with his sister Cersei in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. According to Bustle, he may be the only person who can stop Cersei's evil reign in Westeros. That is if he can allow himself to betray his sister and lover.

Speculations are rife that one of the Lannister siblings kills Cersei and all theories point to Tyrion. After all, he has deflected from the family and is now part of Daenerys Targaryen's fleet. However, Waldau's statement hints that Jaimie is the one who kills Cersei and not Tyrion. It is unclear though if this happens in "Game of Thrones" Season 7 or not. "He's been groomed since he was 15 that, whatever his life is, it starts and ends with Cersei," Waldau told The Daily Beast.

Regardless, it seems Jaimie's loyalty to his sister starts to dwindle in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. That cliffhanger in the Season 6 finale hints that he might turn his back on Cersei. To recap, Jaimie arrived at King's Landing and realized that his sister had torched half of the kingdom. He saw Cersei crowned as the new ruler. Jaimie had that somewhat worried and displeased look on his face as he looked at his sister seated on the Iron Throne.
