Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus Launching In New York With 'Advanced Functions'

A few more hours to go, the most awaited launching of Samsung's newest flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will be officially revealed to the public. Another recently leaked image has circulated online just a few days remaining before its scheduled launch in New York.

With just a few more days to go, a handful of previous leaks rounded up online, and now, recent rumors showing a glimpse of the so-called "Advance Functions" settings of Samsung's next big flagship, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus which somehow is translated to Spanish. It may be explained in Spanish, but it simply says that both smartphones will feature a double tap power button to launch the camera. The double tap power button interestingly functions as a shortcut to access the camera quickly, according to The Android Soul.

Samsung's new Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus feature a sleek new design with no longer have the traditional home button from the phone's face. Additionally, both smartphones will be sporting a large display screen in the front, which is set to be branded as an "Infinity Display." The term, however, was revealed by Samsung through a trademark filing, reported Trusted Reviews.

Apparently, as what the previous leaks had revealed, Samsung Galaxy S8 will be sporting a 5.8-inch display, larger than the Galaxy S7 while S8 Plus is a massive 6.2-inch display. Now, for both Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, the camera will have an 8 Megapixel front camera and a 12 Megapixel rear camera. In addition, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 chipset with 6GB of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus kick off its official revelation today, March 29 in New York during a Galaxy Unpack 2017 Event. Furthermore, the new Samsung smartphone flagship is expected to hit the tech market in April this year in the US.
