Blizzard Entertainment just released the "World of Warcraft Update 7.2 and with it, tons of new and exciting content. With the recent "WoW" update in place, gamers may now access PvP Brawls, a new dungeon and a pet battle dungeon. But more importantly, players may obtain new epic class mounts to be unlocked after completing the required campaigns of course.

The "World of Warcraft" Update 7.2, which dropped last March 28, 2017, brings a brand new ability to these epic mounts as well, GameSpot reported. The new mounts will be able to fly in the Broken Isles but, to be able to use the ability, players need to earn the Part 2 Achievement of the Broken Isle Pathfinder.

However, the new "WoW" Update 7.2 also made changes to its gameplay that were not covered in its accompanying patch notes. For level 110 players, it was observed that monsters are now calibrated not based on the players' level but  based on the players' gear or items level,  PCGamesN reported.

The change brought by the recent "World of Warcraft" 7.2 update was actually discovered by a player who posted his observation in Reddit. The player, Jegethy, relayed an experience where he and three other players who possessed different levels of items, saw different values on normal, rare and elite creatures. Incidentally, he also observed that removing a gear also saw a drop in the creature's health.

Jegethy's observations are now confirmed by "WoW" game director Ion Hazzikostas. Apparently, the recent "World of Warcraft" 7.2 update was meant to introduce these tweaks but it was not detailed in the patch notes.

However, not a lot of players are happy about the "WoW" gameplay tweak. Most of the negative comments lament on the apparent futility of striving to acquire higher level items if the monsters just become stronger with the items.

While the monster scaling with one's items was indeed intentional, it seems that the scaling curve introduced by the latest "Wow" 7.2 update might be a bit too steep as admitted by Hazzikostas. With mounting complaints from players, it looks some tweaking will be on the way. Stay tuned to MStarsNews for the latest "World of Warcraft" updates.
