"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 is coming back on March 31 after a short hiatus. After CBS announced the show’s renewal for another season, the network also announced that the current season will have its finale on May 14. This means that there will be six new episodes more before the big finale.
According to “Hawaii Five-O” Season 7 spoilers that have been coming out, the storylines of the remaining episodes are inter-connected in a manner that will lead to a culmination in the season finale. There have been a lot of talk about how big the six episodes will be. For one, the April 14 episode titled "Waimaka 'ele'ele" or “Black Tears” is said to be about Steve McGarrett (Alex Loughlin) discovering the significant role his grandfather played at the Pearl Harbor according to Spoilers Guide.
In the said “Hawaii Five-O” Season 7 episode, the team will be solving the murder of the last survivor of the USS Arizona. EP Peter Lenkov promised that the episode will be a thrilling one reported TV Guide. He also talked about the rest of the episodes in a recent interview. Lenkov revealed that the human trafficking case that was featured since March 10 will be continued in the upcoming Friday episode. He also hinted on a new kidnapping case of a rich lady and teased on the comeback of Harry Brown.
“Hawaii Five-O” Season 7 is performing so well that it is being touted as the best season in the show’s history. It has consistently been one of the network’s frontrunners that help maintain CBS’ ratings lead. One of the reasons being pointed to as the reason for its good ratings is the powerful lead-in provided by “MacGyver.” In return, the show provides the same for “Bluebloods.”
For the time being, fans will have to say good-bye to “Hawaii Five-O” Season 7 in less than two months. It’s a good thing that season 8 has been officially announced. But, the news that it may be the last for Alex O’Loughlin could make the fans worry and make next season the most anticipated of the series.
