Nintendo NES Classic Mini is out of stock and its developer already assured fans that they address the shortage. While waiting for more stocks, RetroEngine Sigma might be of help.
According to Daily Star, RetroEngine Sigma is the solution to Nintendo NES Classic shortage. This tiny little box allows players to enjoy the different NES titles. However, that's not all it also support 28 game consoles.
RetroEngine Sigma supports NES, SNES, GameBoy, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, PlayStation 1 and more systems like Atari ST and ZX Sinclair. The creators of Sigma announced that it will be shipped with 15 branded games.
RetroEngine Sigma is as simple plug-and-play. It does not require expertise or experience. The good thing with this is that it comes with pre-installed games that automatically work out of the box. It comes with an easy smartphone guided setup procedure to help users set it up.
IndieGoGo's campaign for RetroEngine Sigma was a success that they also ran out of stock for the Limited Edition. However, they will soon be back into taking order with their new models that will arrive with a different case design.
RetroEngine Sigma is as promising as Nintendo NES Classic and even better in different aspects, especially when it comes to pricing. This is up for grab for only £62 and comes with a Dual Stick Analog Controller, 32GB MiroSD Card and more accessories.
The issue on NES shortage has been around for quite a while already. The company already reassured fans that they are trying to fill the shortage but the process was not that easy. When NES gets restocked it gets sold out in just a matter of days. Game aficionados or online resellers take advantage of it by selling the NES Classic Mini Edition at a higher price.
NES Classic Mini Edition is only priced at $59.99 in select US retailers and £49.99 in the UK market. However, one can find the console on Amazon at 169 to as much as $250.
